Amazon Releases Kindle 3.0 to Add Support For New iPad Retina Display

Amazon has just released Kindle 3.0, which has been optimized for the new iPad's Retina Display.

According to the What's new section Kindle 3.0 includes the following new features and improvements:

New library design - view your content in a new, updated look and feel. iPhone users can now choose view their library in grid view.Cloud view - easily access all of your content in the cloud in a simple, combined view.Optimized for the new iPad retina display.

The redesigned library, now sports tabs for Cloud, which shows you all your content in the cloud, while Device shows you content that have been downloaded on the iOS device. It's a lot more intuitive than the Archived and Home view in the earlier version.

Users will be able to enjoy sharper and crisper text and graphics while reading ebooks on their shiny new iPad.

You can download the free Kindle app from this App Store link or update it via the Updates tab in the App Store app if you've already downloaded it.
