This news report from The Guardian newspaper is so disgusting it is almost unreal. American imperialism hits its stride with a vengeance. So now anyone in the world can be subject to American trial for no reason at all, it seems.
This is UNBELIEVABLE! If people in Europe don’t start fighting this, it will get worse, until the point where we’ll be seeing jackbooted American stormtroopers smashing down doors over here to drag out people they suspect of any old crime. It’s time to start fighting for our rights before we lose them completely.
In July the agency’s assistant deputy director told the Guardian that ICE would now actively pursue websites similar to TVShack even if their only connection to the US was a website address ending in .com or .net. Such suffixes are routed through Verisign, an internet infrastructure company based in Virginia, which the agency believes is sufficient to seek a US prosecution.
